 - 4 hourly Sessions - $120 - Morning or Afternoon

• The Workstation   offers the use of a large Hilldav etching press (press bed 200cm x 100cm)   

• workstation- large table surface measuring 2m x 1m  

• glass slab for inking up- large area

• some rollers are available for use

• large drying rack available

• bring your own paper, specialist materials and surfaces etc.

• cleaning rags and cleaning products will be supplied

• a selection of basic rollers & paper dampening trays

As work health, place and safety are a priority, the methods of printmaking that can be pursued are: drypoint etching, monotype, plate lithography and collography.

Both water based and oil based inks can be used. 

Clean up to be done with oil based products (vegetable oil) followed

by a degreasing solution. 

​

Note: ferric and nitric acid etching is not permitted however, copper sulphate, salt and water solutions can be used.

​

A studio orientation and induction to press use is required prior to the session. Please make contact so as to organise an orientation and induction time.
