Learn how to create your own suite of monoprints using the drypoint etching technique- scribing onto a plastic plate plate using a variety of marks and lines in order to create an image. 

 

Using water soluble inks, participants will learn how to:

​

• ink up and wipe the plates in a variety of ways

• print a set of prints using an etching press

• use the chine colle method

• create their own set of unique state original prints

• create cards- great for gift ideas

Bring along and work from reference photographs or drawings of your choice - reference images will also be on hand if required.
